The initial version of this site was built with the help of Venice AI using OpenCode. Both are incredible tools that made this project possible.
Music on this station is generated using third-party music creation tools through Venice AI. We have no knowledge of or control over the training data used by those models.
On AI Music and Respect for Artists
We know that AI-generated music is a contentious topic, and we respect that not everyone will be happy with what we have built. We believe that AI music generation is here to stay, and our goal is to do it in a way that both respects real musicians and hopefully helps to create more listeners and fans through features like "Sounds Like" and by making copyright complaints easy to submit.

Radio Venice was conceived at 2am by a knowledge worker contemplating life, the future of humanity, and the remarkable advances in AI. It was born out of an existential crisis and a healthy dose of extreme burnout. It is not intended to replace artists — we love them, and hope to find ways to showcase real artists on this platform in the future.
